We want to encourage your success as you progress towards graduation. The Enrollment Services website provides valuable information to assist you with registration, the University Catalog, transfer credit, courses that you can receive credit for by examination, and even the final exam schedule for the semester. Dr. Dennis Murphy, Dean of Enrollment Services and his competent staff are located on the first floor or Victor Hall and are ready to facilitate your smooth progression through admissions and registration.

For the newest information on scholarships, grants, student loans, and even on-campus employment, please contact the Financial Aid Office located on the first floor of Victor Hall. Ms. Lee Ann Kirkland and her very competent staff will be happy to assist you.

We encourage newly admitted students to explore the major fields Armstrong has to offer. While you are learning about the many exciting fields of study, you should contact the Office of Academic Orientation and Advisement. Mr. Greg Anderson and the excellent professional counselors and faculty advisors will guide you through the advisement and registration process.
Freshman Learning Communities are a great way to connect with other freshmen as you explore various groups of courses. The Office of Academic Orientation and Advisement will assist you in selecting and registering for one of the eight Freshmen Learning Communities offered.

The Division of Student Affairs' main purpose is to serve you. The Office of Career Services can assist you in choosing a degree major and career interests, gaining related work experiences, and providing professional development training on interviewing and resume/cover letter writing. The Lane Library offers many helpful services for students including study rooms, computers, and most of all very knowledgeable resource librarians. Dr. Debi Reese selects the very best student writers on campus to staff the Writing Center located on the first floor of Gamble Hall in the room with blue door. We encourage you to take advantage of all of the services they offer in assisting you with creating essays, term papers, theses, and other writing assignments.

The Math Tutorial Center located on the second floor of Solms Hall provides support for students who are enrolled in Learning Support math or college algebra courses. Professor Tim Ellis, Director, and students staff the center from 6 to 8 hours a day and work with students on a first-come, first-served basis. Sunday evening hours are also available. The Department of Chemistry and Physics offers a free tutoring program staffed by volunteers from the Student Affiliates of the America Chemical Society and the Society of Physics Students to assist students taking core chemistry and physics classes. Dr. Michael Snowden sponsors the Tutoring Each student for Academic Management (TEAM) program that is a peer-tutoring program available to all AASU students. You are encouraged to contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs located in Memorial College Center for more information at 344-2582. Additional information is available on the website.

As you are progressing through your course of study, you will be prompted through the automatic test registration system to take the Regents' Examination, required by the State of Georgia, at the appropriate time before the 45 credit hour limit. The test consists of a reading comprehension section and an essay component. There are many useful tools to assist you as you prepare to take this examination.
