We have included some helpful links so that you can access important
information. Please stop by to visit us or to request assistance in Victor
Hall at the Student Success welcome area or in offices 205. You may

We want to encourage your success as you progress towards graduation. The
Enrollment Services website provides valuable information to assist you with
registration, the University Catalog, transfer credit, courses that you can
receive credit for by examination, and even the final exam schedule for the
semester. Dr. Dennis Murphy, Dean of Enrollment Services and his competent
staff are located on the first floor or Victor Hall and are ready to
facilitate your smooth progression through admissions and registration.
We encourage newly admitted students to explore the major fields Armstrong
has to offer. While you are learning about the many exciting fields of study,
you should contact the Office of Academic Orientation and Advisement. Mr.
Greg Anderson and the excellent professional counselors and faculty advisors
will guide you through the advisement and registration process.
The Division of Student Affairs' main purpose is to serve you. From Navigate Armstrong
sessions to counseling services to all of the fun activities with
Intramurals, Mr. Bill Kelso wants to get you involved in the campus
community. Check out the website for the vast array of services and
activities offered.
The Office of Career Services can assist you in choosing a degree major and
career interests, gaining related work experiences, and providing
professional development training on interviewing and resume/cover letter
writing. The Office is conveniently located in the Compass Point Annex
adjacent to student housing, and Ms. Barbara Solomon Myers would welcome
your visit.
Students with disabilities should contact Ms. Amelia Castilian-Moore, the Director
of Disability Services as she and her professional staff are committed to
assessing needs and assisting with academic accommodations.
The Lane Library offers many helpful services for students including study
rooms, computers, and most of all very knowledgeable resource librarians.
Individual consultation appointments are available for assistance in research
for projects and papers. Check out the beautiful new facility as you avail
yourself of the services offered.
Do you need access to a computer on campus? Two well-equipped computer labs
are available for your use, with a valid student ID in Solms Hall and
University Hall. Access this website for days and times of availability.
Dr. Debi Reese selects the very best student writers on campus to staff the
Writing Center located on the first floor of Gamble Hall in the room with
blue door. We encourage you to take advantage of all of the services they
offer in assisting you with creating essays, term papers, theses, and other
writing assignments.
The Math Tutorial Center located on the second floor of Solms Hall provides
support for students who are enrolled in Learning Support math or college
algebra courses. Professor Tim Ellis, Director, and students staff the
center from 6 to 8 hours a day and work with students on a first-come,
first-served basis. Sunday evening hours are also available. Please check

The Department of Chemistry and Physics offers a free tutoring program
staffed by volunteers from the Student Affiliates of the America Chemical
Society and the Society of Physics Students to assist students taking core
chemistry and physics classes. You are encouraged to stop by room 2302 in
the Science Center if you would like to seek assistance. Additional
information is posted on these websites.
Graduate students want you to succeed and offer many free tutorials on the
second floor of Victor Hall in room 227. Appointments are not required.

Dr. Michael Snowden sponsors the Tutoring Each student for Academic
Management (TEAM) program that is a peer-tutoring program available to all
AASU students. You are encouraged to contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs
located in Memorial College Center for more information at 344-2582.

As you are progressing through your course of study, you will be prompted
through the automatic test registration system to take the Regents'
Examination, required by the State of Georgia, at the appropriate time before
the 45 credit hour limit. The test consists of a reading comprehension
section and an essay component. There are many useful tools to assist you as
you prepare to take this examination. Bookmark this important web site as it
contains practice Regents' tests, registration information, and remediation
requirements.
Weekend College and Mini-Term Rotations provide non-traditional students with
a variety of course offerings to accommodate the busy work- week schedule and
